Fooled around with a digital sketch. I originally wanted an olive green metal surface that is rusty in places. I’ve used scanned watercolor stains to create the surface.
Did some sketches of outfits that I would like to wear but do not dare. I like the way this one turned out. It’s done with coloured pencils in my sketch book. So what should we do with all this stuff? That’s what I try to figure out when I do my “Recycled” drawings.
There seem to be a huge surplus of mini skirts. One way to make them a bit more useful would be to add more pockets and make a “wear-bag”.
So instead of doing something sensible like updating a comic I have once again fiddled around with a sketch. It is just so rewarding to finish something quickly. So here it is with two backgrounds.
For the moment I’m very fond of the shape of the small letter a, with serif and a heavy drop to finish the arc
